MEDINA, Ohio Medina residents should buckle up for another couple of long orange barrel seasons as the Ohio Department of Transportation begins its reconstruction of Ohio 18.
On Monday (March 8), City Engineer Patrick Patton updated City Council on the upcoming construction.
“ODOT recently awarded the project for the State Route 18 corridor improvement. This project will start in the city, just west of Alber Drive and extend into the township near (Interstate) 71 to just past Nettleton Road,” Patton said.
“I anticipate this project beginning in April and it will last approximately two construction seasons.”
