There will be six cities in Black Hawk County with contested races during Tuesday’s election. Many other positions – even whole cities, for that matter – have uncontested seats.
One candidate voiced several times his thoughts on councilmembers coming in with an agenda. Another was unhappy about councilmembers giving themselves a raise in 2024.
