A new report shows that record numbers are thinking of changing their job, career or location and approach to work after COVID-19 for a range of reasons, including necessity, burnout or a lifestyle rethink after last year’s pause in the “rat race” – with stories of families moving to other cities and the regions too many to mention.

Datuk David Gurupatham, group coordinator of Industries Unite, a coalition of more than 40 trade, business, and professional associations throughout Malaysia, said there is a handful of micro SMEs that fall into this category, hence, the information on government assistance as well as the necessary guidelines and procedures has not reached them.
