Blocks away when this crash happened. Four Philadelphia Police officers were injured in it. We are told one officer was taken to Temple University hospital for, an injury to his head. The others, treated at this scene by paramedics. Officers from the accident investigation district are on the scene right now trying to piece together what led to this crash, and they tell us four officers, two in each suv were responding to a shooting call at kensington and East Allegheny where they collided at d street and indiana. Eyewitness tells me it appears one of the police suvs was traveling the wrong direction on indiana when crash happened and also placed around 10 15 this morning.
