The state of Montana recently changed Benefis Health System’s trauma designation from level two, or regional trauma center to what it classifies as a Community Trauma Facility.
MISSOULA, Mont. - Local 17 is the nurse union specifically designated to Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula. Now, contract negotiations between nurses and the hospital are at a standstill.
first responders were dispatched to a 2 p.m. report Friday that one person in a group of snowmobilers sustained multiple injuries and was in need of rescue.
"Nurses have had their wrists broken, they’ve been punched in the face, they’ve been spit on, they’ve been verbally and sexually assaulted," said one nurse.
