The Lagos State Government has said it will probe all the medical practitioners who were behind the 30-second video clip showing the final moments of a former reality TV star, Patrick Fakoya, aka Rico Swavey, at a hospital in Lagos State. This was made known by the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, who stated that the government had commenced an investigation into the matter. He said, “That hospital is not a government hospital; we have started an investigation into the unprofessional conducts of those who appeared in that video.”

A Facebook user, Ubangha Blessing Ubi, who claimed to be very familiar with the issues surrounding the admission of a former Big Brother Naija Housemate, Rico Swavey's to hospital before his death, has made some clarifications regarding a viral video showing the deceased in the hospital before his death. Rico Swavey’s real name was Patrick Fakoya. SaharaReporters earlier reported that Rico died on Wednesday morning.
