And Kamura, in an interview with
Citizen, claims the club treasurer Maurice Chichi, has branded him as one of the players sympathetic to the club’s former coach Anthony Kimani.
Kimani quit the club two weeks ago following the appointment of Aussems. It is believed the youthful coach had not received his salary for the past three months and had grown frustrated with a lack of clear definition over his role. He is on the verge of joining Bandari as an assistant coach.
“The treasurer (Maurice Chichi) claims senior players who are closer to former interim coach ‘Modo’ (Antony Kimani) fixed the Bandari game and that is not true. We lost fairly due to mistakes I and Marvin (Nabwire) committed at the back,” said Kamura.

Ugandan midfielder William Wadri scored a brace in a span of eight minutes as Bandari silenced AFC Leopards 2-1 in Friday’s FKF Premier League match in Mombasa.
While the defeat was a rude welcome for the newly appointed Ingwe coach Patrick Aussems in the league, for Bandari’s Cassa Mbungo, the win helped him prove a point against his former employers.
It took only three minutes for Wadri to break the deadlock before doubling the lead in the 11th minute. Marvin Nabwire pulled a goal back for AFC Leopards in the 22nd minute but the dockers held their nerves to hand the fifth placed Ingwe their third loss of the season and go level on 19 points.

Just like Bandari’s case, Aussems has every player at his disposal and will want to ensure he starts his reign at the club on a positive note.
Ahead of their FKF Shield Cup fixture, Aussems explained his main concern was the tactical aspect of the team which he said they must improve before their next league assignment.
Honestly, we have a percentage of December salaries yet to be cleared, as well as January salary and of course allowances. But I am sure they will be paid soon, the management is working around the clock to ensure they settle the players dues soon.
A senior player from the club who spoke with a demand of anonymity told
Goal how the situation has been. There have been unkept promises day in, day out from management which demoralizes us. We give our best to ensure the club is at the top, but it hurts when we are not getting what is rightfully ours.
