But first fire and rescue crews are on the scene at an amtrak derailment in vermont. This train derailed in central vermont near the town of roxbury south of montpelier. It was heading to washington, d. C. Five cars went down an embankment. The injured have been taken to the hospital. Amtrak said that none of the injuries appear to be life threatening.
