BULLOCKE Barney (Wg Cdr RAF)
Michael Barnabas Bullocke, better known as Barney, died peacefully on 8th April 2021 aged 82. Father to Elanor and Christopher (from his marriage to Vikki Pitcher), and stepfather to Sharon and Robert (from his marriage to Trish Lloyd).
After a childhood spent in Devon and Weymouth, including schooling at Hardye s, he served his 34 year career in the RAF as a fighter pilot and QFI. His principal postings were 111 SQN from 64-66 and 68-70 in Wattisham, including the Paris and Biggin Hill Air Shows in 1965; 226 OCU from 66-68 in Coltishall; promotion to Sqn Ldr and posted to 74 SQN from 70-71 in Singapore including leading the final fly past before the sqn was disbanded; flight commander at 92 SQN in Gutersloh; Officer Commanding of 23 SQN back in Wattisham including the fly past for the Queen s birthday in 78 and awarded the Dacre Trophy for most efficient fighter squadron in 79. He also spent time at Bracknell and Cranwell.

That amount does not include the cost of “promposals” which can run as high as $300. A Promposal is when one person elaborately asks another to go to the prom with him or her.
