A Senior Alert has been issued for a 71-year-old woman last seen walking away from her home in Alexandria Saturday morning. Fairfax Police said Patricia Garris was last seen around 11:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of Buckman Road in Alexandria. Garris is described as a Black female, 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 155 pounds. She has brown eyes and was wearing a black wig, according to police. Officers said Garris was last seen wearing a red robe, a blue and white shirt and black pants. “The missing senior suffers from cognitive and vision impairments, and the disappearance poses a credible threat to her health and safety,” state police said.
