Gabrielle Foreman, Paterno Family Professor of American Literature, professor of African American studies and history and co-director of the Center for Digital Black Research at Penn State, has been named a 2022 MacArthur Fellow for “setting a new standard for digital and collaborative humanities scholarship while also uncovering histories of African American organizing that are still relevant and resonant today.”
