ROCKVILLE, MD A drug manufacturing company has chosen Rockville for its new headquarters, according to the Maryland Economic Development Association (MEMA).
On Demand Pharmaceuticals recently signed a $20 million contract with the U.S. Department of Defense and the Department of Health and Human Services to create active pharmaceutical ingredients and medicines using its proprietary Pharmacy on Demand technology.
Pharmacy on Demand a machine roughly the size of a small household refrigerator can make starting materials, active pharmaceutical ingredients, and medicines into a finished product (pill or liquid).
