PETERBOROUGH, NH New Hampshire State Police believe driver fatigue may have played a role in a fatal traffic accident on Saturday on Route 101 in Peterborough.
Police were sent to the area near Field Road at just after 10:30 p.m. for a report of a serious accident with injuries. When they arrived, they found a Volkswagen Jetta, being driven by a 21-year-old man from Milford, had collided with a Ford Escape SUV. The driver in the Jetta was heading west when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed the center dividing line, and into the eastbound land, according to Sgt. Greg Dube of the New Hampshire State Police.
