GLENVIEW, IL Health officials in Illinois are continuing to see an uptick in coronavirus cases across the state. The Illinois Department of Public Health reported Thursday 3,581 new confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19 in Illinois, including 40 additional deaths.
In Glenview, cases had dipped last week, but a trend of them going up for the last month has returned this week. As of Thursday, there have been 4,206 confirmed coronavirus-related cases in Glenview, according to the Cook County Department of Public Health. That marks an increase of 84 cases since our last report on April 8. These numbers indicate an +13.8 percent change in confirmed cases over the last 14 days.
