Noel Daley liked Buy A Round from the moment he began training the female trotter, particularly because she reminded him of past stable star Cedar Dove. The two-year-old filly has done little to change Daley’s opinion since the beginning of her campaign, winning three of four races, including the New Jersey Sire Stakes championship a month ago.
Twenty three-year-old trotting colts and geldings have entered the 98th edition of the Hambletonian Stakes and will vie for a spot in the lucrative final of the Triple Crown event in a pair of $100,000 eliminations scheduled for Saturday, July 29 at The Meadowlands.
