Fr Pat O Rourke ditched the razor in November in a bid to raise cash for Wicklow Cancer Support.
The popular priest was overwhelmed by people s generosity during Movember and raised over €1,800 for the charity.
This isn t the first time that Fr Pat of Wicklow Parish decided to forgo shaving for the month of November and grow a beard to raise awareness of men s health issues.
His efforts managed to raise a total of €1,845, much to the delight of Wicklow Cancer Support.
Chairperson Eileen Earls said: Thank you so much to Fr Pat. He raised an amazing figure, especially considering the difficulties presented by Covid.
