On Monday a 20-foot, 3,000-pound bourbon tasting table made of the historic Pabst Mansion tree will be brought to the distillery.
“Think of all the local history that tree witnessed: Soldiers returning home (from) two world wars, the expansion of Milwaukee, the end of Prohibition and so much more,” said Evan Hughes, cofounder of Central Standard. “We’re just incredibly proud to give it a permanent home and help save it from being mulched or dumped in a landfill.”
