Andrew is the editor of several New York Times bestsellers including war letters, letters of the nation, behind the lane trendline. He also added on a pro bono basis, operation homecoming, iraq, afghanistan and the homefront and that inspired the Emmy Awardwinning film of the same name. In 1998, andrew founded the legacy project, all volunteer initiatives that honors veterans and activeduty troops by preserving their wartime correspondence. His travel to all 50 states and more than 40 countries including iraq and afghanistan. He has collected today an estimated 100,000 previously unpublished letters and emails. Andrew donated this massive collection, free of charge to Chapman University which is also where roger and my son went to school.
