Brian Billingsley, director of community and economic development for the City of Minot and co-chairman of a zoning ordinance steering committee, opens a copy of the updated zoning ordinances approved by the Minot Planning Commission and scheduled for consideration by the Minot City Council.
Minot residents and developers could find the city’s zoning rules easier to understand and navigate if the Minot City Council adopts revisions approved by the Minot Planning Commission Tuesday.
The update was a two-year project that rewrote many of the current zoning ordinances and packaged them in a more user-friendly manual.
