And im rahel solomon. Katie and meisha both have the morning off. Here is matt peterson. Youre talking about washington crossing, thats right down the street from where my parents lived. I remember one year they walked across the bridge because they couldnt put the im telling you, oh, well, each year is a new surprise. What if George Washington had the bridge back in the day history would be totally different. Rahel, youre right, it will be mild today. It will be even more mild tomorrow. So ill say maybe break out the tshirt . I dont know. Tshirt . No, no. I guarantee someone tomorrow will wear a tshirt because of just how cool it was last week if you are waking up this morning, in bethlehem, it is actually pretty nice morning, still a little bit of snow out there, on the grounds, but temperatures yesterday, even up in the lehigh valley, in areas like bethlehem, it was warm enough that we definitely had some melting going on, and today, it is going to be much more of the same. We will
Week actually, cold week before the start of winter where we had our little chance of snow every day pretty much it week. We are dealing with just some real comfortable conditions, this week. Outsideat it looks like, in philly, this is coming from our roof cam on top of Eyewitness News here and it is 39 degrees, with calm winds out there so we also dont have any casino every windchill factor for us this morning. Around the rest of the region, we continue to see those gulf freezing temperatures, even mount pocono, 29 couple of hours ago, now the freezing mark at 326789 so definitely not really cool start to the day. You still probably need a jacket as you step outside but maybe you dont need the heavy heavy winter coat, hat scarfs, gloves, not so much a factor for us here this morning, storm scan3 little light precipitation trying to work it way through the philadelphia area, at this point, dollars good news with our temperatures still warm, it is all just falling we do see any as rain,
Couple of days, do little roller coaster riding but take a look at storm scan locally, cup he of sprinkle stills out there. I dont want you to worry about those, too warm right now for us to have any icing issues, so maybe you have to flick the windshield wipers once thats it. You dont need the umbrella most of the day will feature some sunshine in fact, take a look at the temperatures, styled start for whats seasonable. Fortyfour atlantic city, see the wind barbs indicating the warmth is coming from where would you expect it to from the south where it is warmer, and thats going to only allow us to rebound even further, come later on today, yes, what did i tell you . 58 degrees, the expected high. I know. Dont you love that, jim . Sun and clouds expected. It will remain above average, everywhere in the region today , but the coolest spot as you might imagine would go to the poconos wont see ton of sunshine but still mid 40s there. But look at the dip that we take come the next few days
Shut down. It gets busiest the quickest. That is what we are dealing w we will have updates coming up that sounds like rough stuff. Weather should not pose a major issue today, maybe sun glare later this morning but all and all quiet day, hint of the breeze. Let me get you out there and sip through this so meisha can get to that important information. There is not much to take away from the current conditions, that would have any major impact weatherwise but outside palmyra cove nature park there is a quiet view over in center city, deck of cloud cover across the southern half of the area but not a sign of anything yet to come. This is a quiet day with temperatures leveling off. Look at how warm it is. We are currently at 49 degrees at the airport. That is going to end up being our official daytime high for the day. We will sort of level off through rest of the day but still in the 50s in dover, Atlantic City, so still exceeding is what average at this hour of the morning. Looking forw
Totally been cleared but certainly making headway so we will have more coming up, and we are looking quiet over here as well. Weather is very tranquil, mild at on set, little breezy too but day all and all is looking very quiet and we are currently at 43 degrees outside whitefield Elementary School. Wind flow out of the west but i will note that is stiff breeze as we go to the north and west and it is also more of a north westerly wind flow for most of us. Looking at storm scan three all quiet say for cloudy build ing from a system to the south but that will stay to the south so we will see sunshine through the day and at the moment temperatures are off to a mild start. Thirtytwo ill give thaw not mild but for standard of the 20th of december it is not too harsh, upper 40s, and low 50 s in dover. Dont expect that will last necessarily. We will drop off a few more degrees here and then we will just level off upper 40s expect in the city to more seasonal afternoon, technically 47 ace abo
