Thousands in our area. Faculty members in 14 state universities are now on strike. Pro fess sorries walked off the job at 4 00 this morning. Nbc 10 was at several of the schools today, professors at West Chester University held picket signs and they marched on campus. The five local communities impacted. East stroutdsburg, kutztown, millersville, cookstown. Randy, what is the pulse there on campus as the students are impacted by this strike . These professors left their offices and classrooms early this morning and they tell us theyre not going back until they get what theyre calling a fair contract.
