A steady trickle of in-person voters made their way to the Newton Free Library’s polling location on March 16, to cast their ballots for two open city councilor-at-large seats.
The spots opened up after former Ward 2 Councilor-at-Large Jake Auchincloss gave his notice when he won the 4th District House seat in November and Ward 1 Councilor-at-Large Allan L. “Jay” Ciccone Jr., died on Nov. 7, 2020.
