Do you love snow? I’ve always loved it, but today I love it a little bit more. You see, I’ve lived in sub-tropical Australia for the last six years. “Cold” there is 50° Fahrenheit. So, as you might’ve guessed, it doesn’t snow. To be clear, there are places in Australia where it does snow, but not where I lived.
Last month, our family moved back to the United States, Colorado to be precise. And today, after a cold, quiet night’s accumulation, a perfect blanket of snow covers everything. It’s been years since I’ve experienced this waking up to a thick, uniform blanket of snow, dappled with early morning light, covering everything as far as the eye can see.
