Two non-profits connected with a controversial Warren church are seeking gaming licenses and have requested City Council recognition as nonprofits in order to be eligible for those licenses.
Pastor Curtiss Ostosh and his wife Suzanne Ostosh have supported each other for years in their volunteer work to support the basic needs of thousands in Warren and the surrounding areas.
"We're here to serve the poor," said Pastor Curtiss Ostosh as his eyes filled with tears at the loss of food in a large shipping container next to his church on Nine Mile Road in Warren.
