Members of a task force on combatting racism are recommending the City of Fredericton hire a new employee specifically to record and report on incidents of racism experienced by residents of the city.
The City of Fredericton should have a role in helping combat instances of employment discrimination being faced by members of minority groups, says Passionate Ncube, chair of the Fredericton anti-racism task force.
Passionate Ncube, who arrived in New Brunswick three years ago from Zimbabwe, says his experience working with NGOs motivated him to volunteer for Fredericton's new anti-racism task force.
