Firefighters were working to save homes from a large brush fire in Pasco County Friday afternoon.
Pasco County Fire Rescue engines and brush trucks were in place to protect homes on Banner Stone Court and Blue River Drive near Anclote High School in Holiday, according to a news release. Residents in the area were placed âon alertâ but no evacuations were ordered, officials said.
