Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said on Friday that the increasing number of bed vacancies in the city’s four quarantine facilities proves that the prevent-detect-isolate-treat-reintegrate (PDITR) system being implemented by the city government is effective.
Rubiano admitted the city government reached the point that it had to ask for help from Oplan Kalinga to transport some residents who contracted the coronavirus dieases (COVID-19) to isolation facilities outside Pasay City.
She said based on the report of the Pasay City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO), the city’s four quarantine facilities now have a total of 55 bed capacities which can accommodate patients with COVID-19.
