so, pas the mic was a series i created at the beginning of the pandemic in my living room. i had an idea to connect people around the world to their musical heroes in a way like never before. and i started calling all my legendary friends of hip hop and r & b and asked them if they would sing along to one of their most iconic songs. on july 3rd, 2020, i debuted pass the mic volume one. august 15th, 2020, i debuted volume 2 featuring this man and 30 other hib hobb icons and became a series on b.e.t. i could have never imagined that three years later i would unite with the promoters collective to put this little series from my home on the road. friday we sold out radio city. and i want to say it s a dream come true. i ll let you finish. you never thought hip hop could take you this far. the truth is it s an interesting question. it s a song lyric, but i did it.
