More than 1,000 inmates in provincial jails will be offered COVID-19 vaccines this week.
On Monday, immunization teams set up clinics at Headingley Correctional Centre and Milner Ridge Correctional Centre, which house an estimated 900 people.
The clinics will wrap up on April 29 and April 27, respectively, before immunization teams move on to the Brandon Correctional Centre to deliver doses on April 29. An estimated 273 people are incarcerated at the Brandon jail.
