113 Lautoka youths affected by COVID-19 assisted with farming materials 113 Lautoka youths affected by COVID-19 assisted with farming materials [Image: Fijian Government] 113 youths of Vakabuli Village in Lautoka who are on reduced hours or have been laid off due to COVID-19 have been assisted with materials to help them farm and sell their produce to generate an income. They are part of the six youth clubs assisted under the government’s Youth Farm Initiative which includes Drasa Lomolomo Multiracial Youth Club, Nayaqali Youth Club, Teidamu Youth Club, Vunadoi Youth Club, Wainamo Youth Club and Yalovina Youth Sports and Social Club. The donated farming materials include forks, spades, water tanks, water pumps, irrigation hoses, barbed wire and vegetable seedlings.
