We heard from not just mayor but the police chief and a local pastor as well. They all had a unified message. They are calling for calm after four nights of unrest here in this community. They also talked about doubling the resources to help those having a Mental Health crisis. Richard, we have seen a lot of tension growing here in the wake of the release of that body cam footage. The mayor and police chief said this is their community. They were born here and raised here. This is their home. The mayor said shes committed to change. Here is a bit more on what she said.
