Multiple injuries are reported after an amtrak train derailed in kansas. Amtrak train 4, the southwest chief was en route from los angeles to chicago when it jumped the tracks about 25 miles west of dodge city, kansas, earlier this morning. Amtrak says there were 128 passengers and 14 crew members on board. Its unclear just how many cars derailed, but five cars have rolled on to their side. The injured are being taken to local hospitals. No word on the severity of their injuries.
