Attackers leaped out, looking like they were wearing suicide bomb vests and started to attack people with knives. The vests turned out to be fake, but the other weapons were real. [ sirens ] it started on London Bridge after 10 00 london time. Witnesses say a white van swerved into people walking across the bridge, mowing down everyone in its path. I saw people running, screaming, somebody injured. I seen people with some blood. Reporter at least three men exited the crashed van and began attacking patrons with knives and a busy market area lined with restaurants and pubs. They say he was going about 50 Miles Per Hour before hitting the crowd. That van then drove to the second scene. Attackers got out and started stabbing people at borough market.
