Workers across the country. After rallies like these across new york that helped fast food workers get one step closer toward earning 15 an hour if you work fulltime, you shouldnt have to choose between paying the rent and buying food. Reporter the same workers are now planning to use their voices to fight for the same for other workers who they say are underpaid including Maintenance Employees and security. Today a year from the president ial election, they are calling for a nationwide fast food strike and protests at city halls in battleground election state, hoping that president ial candidates will recognize the 16 million that make less than 15 an hour as a key voting block.
