Following is a New Hampshire elections 2020 special presentation, the exchange candidate debates from nhpr in partnership with New Hampshire pbs. Laura welcome to nhprs candidate debate for New Hampshire u. S. Senate. I am laura knoy along with annie ropeik. These debates are produced in collaboration with nh pbs, and we are following Health Guidelines as we bring them to you. All of us are in separate studios here at nhpr. All of us wore masks in public areas of the building today. Each candidate will have 60 seconds to deliver an opening statement. We will then move to questions, with 60 seconds to respond. In many cases, we will ask at least one followup question or clarification, which will get an additional 30 seconds. In the case of a direct attack on a candidate, that person will be given 30 seconds to respond. If the attacks continue, at some point, we will just have to move on.
