The tax credits and Tax Exemptions given to lowincome are allocated allow a private developer it gives them more of an incentive or ability to create those, versus this group were trying to target. The subsidy is not there. So its more expensive to build those units in many ways and with less return than marketrate unit. And thats what a lot of investors and investments are based on. Well continue this conversation. I appreciate the chair hosting this and moving this conversation forward, and well work with these departments and members of the public to further an idea on how we can created a ages a create additional revenue. She provides Technical Assistance and training to Civil Society organizations and election management bodies. She is also the lead author of the equal access how to include persons with disabilities and elections and political processes. On my right is stafford ward. Hes secretary of the board of the overseas Vote Foundation as well as the technology and Voting Systems advisor. The d. T. Contract management data, manually compiled into a spreadsheet and found it problematic on several fronts. Number one, we could not determine the remaining Spending Authority on the active contracts just by looking at their contract data. And in addition to that, even though it was compiled in a spreadsheet, it was not in a fully functional contract management database that would do things like notify you if a contract was about to expire. So, we noted, for example, there was 35 contracts that had expired but under which services were still being performed at the time of the audit. And we also noted a case where a vendor had to notify d. T. Of the pending expiration and the renewal cost was not in d. T. Budget, so a scramble for resources to make sure the contract was renewed on time, and that there were appropriate funds for the services that other departments were relying on.
