48% who say they have but only 20% of republicans say they have. among the vaccinated, partisan split, democrats being cautious than republicans are. in terms of activities they are engaging in, what are we learning there? it is the same story. 54% of democrats said they gone out to eat. 74% republicans made summer plans in the last week and 34% of democrats and 45% of republicans. among those who were fully vaccinated, we see democrats are playing it far more safely than republicans. democrats are playing it too safe. you are telling me last week democrats are starting to do things at a quicker rate than republicans are. they are growing faster than republicans. that s true. democrats are starting to catch up to republicans. what s true is fully vaccinated people are starting to catch up to those who are unvaccinated.
you can connect some of that there. but that s a new leader in terms of the top issue. a lot of republicans having asking the question, what s the data going to show? 27%, a new number out just this hour. is it separating kids at the border, is that a human rights violation? 60% of americans say yes, it is. 36% say no. among democrats, 95% say it is. among independents, 60 say it is. only 21% of the republicans say it is. oh, my gosh. you have the partisan split, which is on every question. but in the rearview mirror, if immigration were the top issue in the election environment, you would say advantage republicans. but in the windshield, is that fair? or did democrats finally, because of the family separation issue, maybe have an advantage? it really depends on two things at this point. the poll you cited also found by a 58% to 39% margin, voters disapprove of president trump s immigration policy. having said that, republican voters are more energized by the
of a reflection where the american public is at this point. what specifics do you have to see a similarity between rubio and clinton. both have talked about increasing the amount, sort of a freedom that special forces has in fighting iraqi units. both have talked about a no-fly zone over the region much, which is something that obama not called for. those two points of similarity which i think makes them in a lot of ways, i don t know what on this. a lot of ways more similar than they are kind of different. how do you see it? there aren t a lot of options really besides sending in a huge ground presence which, again, this hasn t moved a whole lot. what you have seen in this poll, too is a lot of partisan split. people look at how obama is doing and dealing with terrorism. 80% of democrats say he is doing a good job. 70% of republicans say he is doing a bad job. people are worried thinking terrorists are winning it breaks down on party lines. it s hard for americans to distanc
into the american people s sentiment. who is the worst president since world war ii? quinnipiac decided to ask this question. one-third say president obama is the worst president since world war ii and predecessor, 28% george w. bush, richard nixon and jimmy carter. margaret, not the company you want to be in. again, i suspect in four or six years this will change again because it s the two most recent presidents at the top. people remember them and their partisan opinions and polarizing america jumped out. does it mean anything? you think about if our president obama and you re up against that where nixon is like fabulous compared to how you re doing and you don t want that to be how it goes down. really is sort of struggling how to take the long view without letting the short view trip him up. it s a question of timing and everyone s state of mind. people so disillusioned with all politicians, including the president, and it really does reflect the nation partisan split as well. it
