low-lying islands not built to withstand high winds and high waters like we were seeing with some of the images coming out of there. great abaco has a population roughly around 15,000, and grand bahama was, like, 45,000. so, i mean, that s how many people are on these devastated islands. total 60,000 to 70,000 people-ish. they ve gone through something just unimaginable. here is the freeport area. this is the grand bahama island. you know, this will always be known as, you know, where dorian just stalled and just, you know, the wind and the rain relentless and it just slowly just sat there weakening over the top of the island for, you know, 24 to 36 hours. you notice there is a slow this is the last six hours. a slow drift to the north. we re hoping. to finally get it off of them. i mean, they could really use the storm to, you know, start to follow the forecast and start to move a little quicker. so right now it s a category 3. and we do think that it possibly will the new updat
