The second round of France's legislative elections takes place on Sunday. A left-wing alliance led by Jean-Luc Melenchon is trying to dislodge President Emmanuel Macron's bloc, but pollsters doubt that this will happen.
The 36-year-old was chosen by left-wing leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon, who isn t running himself, to take over his Marseille district. He came out on top in the first round of the elections, on Sunday, and will face Pro-Macron candidate Najat Akodad in the second round.
