Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan has refuted claims by former Eskom CEO Andre de Ruyter that he interfered with and micro-managed operations at the troubled power utility.
Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan appeared before Parliament’s Standing Committee on Public Accounts, to answer questions following former Eskom CEO André de Ruyter’s corruption allegations at the power utility.
It was Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan who suggested that Eskom gather intelligence on crime. Former board chair Maleguru Makgoba says the slow pace of investigation by the Hawks and SAPS was the background to the intelligence operation.
