Kathmandu, March 7 When the meeting of the House of Representatives commences on Sunday, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and his faction of the Nepal Communist Party will try their best to make it look like business as usual.
The government s priority, according to sources, will be presenting the ordinances in a semblance of providing business to the House and letting the House function as if everything is normal, unless the faction led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Madhav Kumar Nepal takes a drastic step.
Though the Dahal-Nepal faction wants to unseat Oli, it has yet to decide whether to file a no-confidence motion against him.

The parliamentary seat of Laxmipur-2 independent lawmaker Mohammad Shahid Islam alias Kazi Papul has been vacated as he has been punished by a foreign court for his misdeeds.
Parliament Secretariat on Monday issued a gazette notification signed by Senior Secretary Zafar Ahmed Khan, mentioning that the seat has been vacated due to the criminal offence committed by the lawmaker.
It further says that the gazette has come into effect from January 28 this year.
Papul was the first lawmaker whose membership of the parliament has been revoked for his four-year rigorous imprisonment abroad.
As per section 66 (2) (Gha) of the Constitution of Bangladesh, Papul has lost his eligibility to retain in the post as a legislator after being convicted and sentenced to four-year rigorous imprisonment by a Kuwaiti court, the gazette said.

Kathmandu, Dec. 26 Indications are that it will be a while before the Supreme Court will give a verdict on the constitutionality of the KP Sharma Oli government s Sunday move of dissolving the House of Representatives.
A hearing on 13 writs against President Bidya Devi Bhandari s dissolution of the House on the recommendation of the Oli Cabinet began on Friday, but the next hearing is scheduled for January 6.
The Constitutional Bench ended Friday s hearing after listening to opening remarks of a handful of lawyers and making four significant orders. These include a show cause notice against the Office of the President and the government demanding a written justification for their move to dissolve the House.
