The Parliament of Dominica has passed a resolution calling on the United States of America to remove a sixty-year-old economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed against Cuba; and the removal of Cuba from the list of state-sponsored terrorism.
The United States embargo against Cuba prevents American businesses, and businesses with commercial activities in the United States, from conducting trade with Cuban interests.
It is the most enduring trade embargo in modern history.
This resolution was tabled by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, International Business and Diaspora Relations, Kenneth Darroux.
