The Bangsamoro Government has reiterated its commitment to help in rebuilding Marawi City amid the seemingly slow progress in government rehabilitation efforts.
Bangsamoro Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim issued the declaration during the 4th Anniversary of the infamous Marawi siege where thousands of residents were displaced after the city was left in ruins.
“Tens of thousands are still displaced, and layers of challenges are piling on, exacerbated by the ongoing health crisis,” said Ebrahim.
BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim reiterates the region’s commitment to support Marawi.
The BARMM has launched the P500-million Marawi Rehabilitation Program (BARMM-MRP) last year to complement the national government’s Task Force Bangon Marawi (TFBM).
