POLICE investigating a stabbing in Eastbourne town centre are looking for a driver who was flagged down after the assault. Officers attended Terminus Road just after 8.30pm on Saturday, April 10, after a 17-year-old boy suffered serious wounds to the stomach. He was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been discharged. Police believe a vehicle was flagged down by two men in Gildredge Road shortly after the assault, around 8.45pm. Officers now want to speak to the driver of the vehicle as part of their investigation. A spokesman from Sussex Police said: Anyone who has any information is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting Operation Parkham.

TWO men have been charged over the stabbing of a boy. The victim was taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition. Police have now charged two men with wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. Inno Makolo, 20, unemployed, of Chatsworth Road, Hackney, and Ashley Roberts-Araujo, 19, a scaffolder, of Sutton Way, Kensington and Chelsea appeared at Brighton Magistrates Court today and have been remanded in custody to next appear in court on May 14.
