Lisa Anne Stegall, 56, of Higbee, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023. The daughter of Jerry Frank Stegall and Nancy Sue Blakemore (formerly Stegall), Lisa was born on March 7th, 1967, in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Lisa was a 1985 graduate of Jefferson City High School and earned a BA in Fine Arts at Colorado College in 1989, and her teaching certificate from the University of Missouri. After her first year teaching in Bevier, Missouri, Lisa found her “school home” at the Northeast R-IV School District, teaching Art K-8 in the close, warm community of Cairo, Missouri.
Richard Alan Finkelstein, Ph.D., microbiologist, educator, researcher, and professor emeritus, died at home in Columbia, Missouri on June 8, 2023 at age 93.
