Three were airlift airlifted. At 2 15 this morning a truck jackknifed in the middle of the interstate and spilling steel pipes into the lanes in both directions. The bus swerved to avoid the pipe or hit them and overturned. It slid across the shoulder and 50 down the embankment. Four other vehicles crashed. There were 32 people on bus traveling from el paso to los angeles. Before the crash they stopped in phoenix. The bus belongs to el pasolos angeles Limousine Company that shuttles passengers across the southwest and connects to bus lines in mexico. This is not the only recent crash involving a bus and a big rig, one occurred west of chico, ten were killed half of them high school. Lawsuits have already been filed.
