George Sebastian, a Dallas native, Southern Methodist University graduate, and self-trained architect, founded the company now called Sebastian Construction Group in 1948. What started as a company to build post-war houses for a fast-growing population in Dallas gradually transitioned in the mid-1950s into the high-end Dallas market, focusing on the renovation of the stately homes in the Highland Park area.

A letter campaign that is underway at a Regina retirement home is doing exactly what those who work at the home wanted.
College Park Residence went to Facebook asking people to write a letter to its residents saying they are thinking of them at this time of year. Many won’t be leaving the home this year because of COVID-19 and with no visitation, it means they will be celebrating with their fellow residents and not families.
Lifestyle director Keith Spanier says they don’t want texts or e-mails, but the traditional letter.
“Our residents in their late 70’s,80’s and upwards and that is what they lived off. They are used to the mail system so the traditional letter is what we are asking for.” Spanier said.
