Birmingham’s four-star Park Regis Hotel, which is set to open in March, has announced the appointment of Robin Ford as its General Manager.
A serial hotelier, Robin will be responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the business, as well as the management of a senior team of 15 and all 150 of the hotel’s new employees. He will also play an instrumental role in the expansion of the Park Regis brand into Europe.
Robin has a wealth of experience in hospitality management, having spent 11 years at InterContinental Hotels Group where he was responsible for hotels across the UK, Ireland and Australia. In the last five years, he has held general manager roles at Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, most recently at Hill Valley Golf & Spa Resort in Shropshire.
