SCAFFOLDING collapsed at a building site for plush flats in the West End. Part of the structure at the Ambassador Living site was damaged by high winds today, said a spokeswoman for the project. She added that there were no reports of any injuries after the incident and that the site and part of Lynedoch Place, where the site stands, was blocked off. Andrew Meikle, an eyewitness at the scene, said earlier this afternoon: Crazy times, the new Park Quadrant Residences roof scaffolding came down. Doesn t look like anyone was injured thankfully. The area is not safe though, would avoid Lynedoch Place on foot or car, stuff still falling down.
