The 10th Gaon Chart Music Awards ceremony was held on Jan. 13 to honor outstanding songs and albums released in Korea between December 2019 to November 2020.
K-pop idol group BTS emerged as the biggest winner, bagging six awards. They won Artist of the Year in digital music, which was awarded by month, for February with “ON,” August with “Dynamite” and November with “Life Goes On.”
In Artist of the Year in physical albums, awarded by quarter, BTS won the first quarter with “Map of the Soul: 7” and fourth quarter with “BE.” In addition, “Map of the Soul: 7” was awarded Retail Album of the Year.
